LEADER NOTES: You can get one or two of your small group to lead bits themselves in the small groups at the end of the evening. If you are having a problem controlling them, don�t struggle. Give Andrew a shout .... Or Duncan !!!!

Kat for an ice breaker game or two. Phat to play .... Note: although TC has said we may use his system for this week, there will be no video projector. Please let Andrew have whatever songs you intend to play so that he can get them sorted onto OHP film. The sound system in the church is having an overhaul !!!

Taste and see ... Duncs to set up. 8 Different packets of flavoured crisps. Each packet is placed on a plate, and the plate clearly marked A through H (a bit of paper with a letter on is sufficient). This is set up on tables on the raised bit of the hall. At 8.30 the kids are given a sheet of paper each and a pen. They then write on their paper in a list the numbers 1 to 8. When your group is ready they can go into the hall, and SAMPLING ONE CRISP EACH can taste the crisps, and see if they can guess what the flavour crisp is.
ADDED NOTES: Make a note of which crisps are on which plate and keep the list hidden away. Make sure that all crisp packets are thrown away too so that no one knows what flavours could be.

All the kids back together. Make the point that in order to discover the real thing for themselves they need to taste it ... They can�t just rely on someone else ... But dare they take the risk?

Trust games. Play various trust games ... See attached notes. Choose any of the games you feel confident with from the instructions. You may well have more than the 10 minutes allowed �cos this is the most fun bit. But still finish, including the point (following) by 9.00. Make the point that faith is believing in facts, and then putting it into action. Faith is �knowing something for sure�... Sign language is �know for sure� (you may want to show the kids this. It�s very easy and Andrew can show you just before the groups start) But how can you know for sure until you have tested the facts?

Divide into groups for the quiz sheet, small group questions and Bible Byte. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A LIST OF THE QUESTIONS THEN THERE IS A PILE ON THE COMMUNION TABLE
